Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, has employed its 20-year earned knowledge in snow boot design and applied it to creating the latest surf lifestyle MTE silhouette: The UltraRange Hi DL MTE. Because reaching the best waves often requires an obsessive drive, this shoe is infused with Vans’ MTE Technology, created to navigate the most rugged terrain and unpredictable missions.
With the UltraRange Hi DL MTE, Vans acknowledges that great surf isn’t always accompanied by 70-degree sunshine and white sand. Designed to facilitate good times in less-than-favorable conditions, this shoe combines weather-treated textile, and leather and synthetic uppers for protection against seasonal weather. The MTE 360 technology delivers moisture-wicking properties and leverages materials meant to improve heat retention.
Completing the shoe is UltraCush foam cushioning from heel to toe, a seamless liner that fits like a glove to prevent hot spots, and a reverse outsole for increased grip and durability.
